BvG Docu + AAG WebNotes

Björnke created a very nice documentation stack. It is clean, elegant and a time saver. I wished to improve it by adding the old feature that some old timers know as webclips. Now, everyone using this stack is able to add notes to the documentation. The notes are stored in my network server so they are available to everyone. When you add a note, other users will see it as soon as they navigate to that dictionary entry.

Thats not all, the notes can contain attachments, any kind of attachments. You can add a note with a demo stack showing what you're talking about and you can even add images or urls. Stacks load directly into Rev (they can even be compressed). Other resources load on the browser because I am lazy and didn't wanted to code a viewer.

A movie is worth a thousand typos

See how easy it is to work with WebNotes, you can simply add comments and stuff. Share your precious tips and seasoned experience with others. Just click 'add note' to add resources to the system. Resources are networked and made available to everyone. Please use attachements with care and don't abuse the system. If users abuse this system, I'll shut it down.

How it works

This uses no RDBMS and no CGI. Everything is done with FTP. Each dictionary entry is a folder of one of my FTP Accounts and webnotes and attachemtents are added to it. I use Mark Smith libUUID to generate the webnotes filenames.

Thanks BvG and MarkS for sharing their resources so I could build this one.
